Prof. Dr. Julian Voss was born in Göttingen in 1981. He grew up in the USA and Germany.

After his high school graduation (2001), studies of business administration at the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen (2001-2005, graduation as Dipl.-Kfm. (FH)) and doctorate at the Georg-August-University Göttingen in 2008 (obtaining the doctoral degree Dr. sc. agr.). he has been working at the interface of practice and science for more than ten years.

Julian Voss has been Professor of General Business Administration at the PFH - Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen since 2011. There, he teaches and conducts research in the areas of distribution management, food and agribusiness management, and Sino-German entrepreneurship.

Julian Voss is married, lives in Braunschweig, and is the father of two sons (*2012 and *2014) and a daughter (*2019). He is a Rotarian, a member of the FDP, and, as a former scholarship holder, a trusted lecturer for the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer and runner.
